IBA Students Provided 5 Months Internship

PAPCO and PARCO jointly offered a 5 months internship program to four IBA students at their head office in Karachi. The internees were provided hands on exposure of the processes and working in different departments. PAPCO, PARCO and IBA were satisfied with this project and in view of its success plans to continue this next year also. On completion of 5 months, Internees were given certificates.

 
   
     

PAPCO Joins IBA for Internship Program

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) has introduced a 5 months internship program for its new MBA students. Accordingly, those who wish to pursue MBA degree will be required to undertake a ‘5-months Project’ in fall semester. The project will primarily be identified and assigned by IBA.

PAPCO has assisted IBA by engaging IBA students for 5 months to provide basic and professional knowledge to BBA students. During this time, PAPCO will assign different projects to the students.

 
Business Plan Competition at IBA

PAPCO sponsored a Business Plan Competition at IBA, in April 2008. The Competition was organized by the BITS Entrepreneurship Society to create a n opportunity for students to develop and present new innovative business ideas.

The event gave the students a chance to display their talent and passion for developing entrepreneurial skills. Also it provided a platform to promote new venture creation along with a spirit of creativity and inventiveness.

 
     
WOP INAUGURATION

The Inauguration of the White Oil Pipeline took place on August 26, 2005. The then President of Pakistan, General Pervez Musharraf, formally inaugurated the White Oil Pipeline at a simple but impressive ceremony, organized at the Port Qasim Station. The ceremony was attended by the Governor and Chief Minister of Sindh, Federal and State Minister for Petroleum, other senior government officials, guests from UAE, top management of oil & gas companies etc.
